“ We called a friend asking for recommendations for the best tacos in Gilroy and this was his go-to spot. Hands down the best tacos we've had in a while! The restaurant was busy but a solid flow of both sit-down and takeout patrons. The wait to order wasn't long at all and the wait for food was maybe 10 minutes. They offer a great sauce bar with to-go cups to fill while you're waiting, and there's a good amount of seating. We tried the Tacos Dorados and the Alambre, both were excellent! The tacos were crunchy, meat was tender and juicy, and the toppings were fresh. The Alambre was absolutely fantastic - chorizo was a good amount of salt, lots of cheese, the onions and peppers were crunchy, and it arrived on a hot skillet. Both meals and one modelo came to a bit over $50 for two people. ”
